This survey was designed to provide useful information from our membership (and other interested persons) about their envisaged timeline for moving into a cohousing development, number of bedrooms they would like, how much they would pay for an apartment, and other questions.

This questionnaire was sent to all Agency members and given to the audience of the Balmain Institute Presentation on Cohousing. It provided information that will help us establish partnerships with developers and financiers in order to progress the development of a cohousing community. Respondents were prepared to invest a range of prices between $800,000 for a one bedroom apartment and up to $3.5m for a large two bedroom or average sized three bedroom apartment. Five people opted for a one bedder, 21 a two bedder and 8 a large two or three bed apartment.
